Above is from September, 2009. Car on right is Zip Car.

Often, as above (taken in September 2009), the containers are orderly - other than that there are a lot in one place - 6 or 7 trash, 2 recycling - seems like a lot of containers for one house. As they are meant for 3 houses, at least 6 units, it might not always be enough for all trash generated ........
The above two photos are taken on Saturday, May 22, 2009 - by now garbage containers should be out of the alley and the garbage bags with sideways traffic cone on top should be dealt with. I am not sure but just as much chance that the trash crew on Friday morning didn't take the bags as that the bags were put there after Friday trash pick up. Recycling is overflowing and excess construction trash is on the ground against the fence. While the garbage on the ground is on private property it impacts the alley when it rains and wind blows - there is significant water runoff from this concrete pad, bringing with it trash.
The following pictures show that at best the available containers are unable to contain the garbage and recycling generated by the apartment building.
Furniture disposal is on going at a six unit building -
During the snow storms of February 2010, while garbage piled up, Zip Car was shoveled out and operating.
